About Game: Assassin's Creed III is a 2012 action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and Microsoft Windows. It is the fifth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, and a direct sequel to 2011's Assassin's Creed: Revelations. The game was released worldwide for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, beginning in North America on October 30, 2012, with a Wii U and Microsoft Windows release following in November 2012. A remastered version will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in March 2019.[6]

The plot is set in a fictional history of real world events and follows the centuries-old struggle between the Assassins, who fight for peace with free will, and the Templars, who desire peace through control. The framing story is set in the 21st century and features series protagonist Desmond Miles who, with the aid of a machine known as the Animus, relives the memories of his ancestors to find a way to avert the 2012 apocalypse. The story is set in the 18th century, before, during and after the American Revolution from 1754 to 1783, and follows Desmond's half-English, half-Mohawk ancestor, Ratonhnhaké:ton, also known as Connor, as he fights the Templars' attempts to gain control in the colonies.

Assassin's Creed III is set in an open world and presented from the third-person perspective with a primary focus on using Desmond and Connor's combat and stealth abilities to eliminate targets and explore the environment. Connor is able to freely explore 18th-century Boston, New York City, and the American frontier to complete side missions away from the primary storyline. The game also features a multiplayer component, allowing players to compete online to complete solo and team based objectives including assassinations and evading pursuers. Ubisoft developed a new game engine, Anvil Next, for the game.[7]

The game received positive reviews from critics, who praised it for its gameplay, narrative, diverse cast of characters, visuals and grand, ambitious scale, while criticism was directed at the unevenly developed gameplay mechanics and the glitches within the game. It was a commercial success, selling more than 12 million copies worldwide. Its sequel, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, was released in October 2013, and follows Ratonhnhaké:ton's grandfather – Edward Kenway – a pirate and Assassin operating in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy.[8]

In September 2018, a remastered edition of Assassin's Creed III was announced as a downloadable add-on to Assassin's Creed Odyssey.[9] The remastered version was confirmed by Ubisoft to contain enhanced visuals, brand new character models, several tweaked or heavily-modified game mechanics and brand new native 4K resolution scaling.

About Game: Assassin's Creed is an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the first installment in the Assassin's Creed series. The player is, in reality, playing as a modern-day man named Desmond Miles, who, through the use of a machine named the "Animus", is allowed the viewing and controlling of the protagonist's genetic memories of his ancestors, in this case, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, a member of the Assassins. Through this plot device, details emerge of a struggle between two factions: the Knights Templar and the Assassins, over an artifact known as the "Apple of Eden", an ancient artifact used to control minds.

The game received generally positive reviews, with critics praising its storytelling, visuals, art design, and originality, although the game was also criticized for the repetitive nature of its gameplay. Assassin's Creed won several awards at E3 in 2006, as well as several end-year awards after its release. The game spawned a sequel, Assassin's Creed II, which was released in November 2009. Since the release and success of Assassin's Creed II, subsequent games have been released, with various other Assassins and time periods.

The Reckoning

About Game:Kingdoms of Amalur will be out next month, hopefully bringing us another meaty RPG with some impactful combat. There's some interesting talent putting it together. Comic book artist and Spawn creator Todd McFarlene is behind the game's art, Morrowind and Oblivion lead designer Ken Rolston is executive producer and fantasy novelist R. A. Salvator handles the story. From what we've seen of it so far, it looks like it'll be very bashy, with plenty of combat customisation and freakishly large hammers (the best kind).

If you're thinking about picking it up, developers 38 Studios have released Amalur's official system requirements on the Kingdoms of Amalur forums. If you've got a Core 2 duo processor and 10 GB of hard disk spare, you should be able to run it quite nicely. Check out the full list below.

About Game:The game is based on the movie by Quentin Tarantino. It has the same story, but goes into more detail. It remains faithful to the film, with gamers able to play all the key characters. It follows the progress and planning of the diamond heist, and reveals some of the events which only took place off-screen in the film itself. The game consists of both third-person shooting and driving sections. The game encourages the player to take hostages and avoid mass-slaughter: both in the ratings system, where a player may be rated as a "Psycho" if many people are killed, or a "Professional" if they are not. It also features the full and original soundtrack from the movie, the so-called K-Billy's Super Sounds of the Seventies. Of the original actors, only Michael Madsen provides his likeness and voice acting for the game. Other characters look and sound only vaguely similar to their big-screen counterparts.
